Sara Awada considers herself to be a citizen of the world. Having lived in three continents throughout her upbringing while learning six different languages, she developed a deep sense of curiosity and understanding of diverse cultures.

 

Sara completed her undergraduate studies at the American University of Beirut in Lebanon. She believed that Business Administration would be a strong foundation for whatever path she would eventually pursue. After an extremely beneficial term as an account executive at SAATCHI & SAATCHI- followed by a job offer- Sara moved back to her home in Sao Paulo, where she began taking creative production and photography classes.

Sara then had the opportunity to move to Milan and attend a digital design academy upon winning a scholarship of a one year intensive course. 

 

Passionate about strategic innovation and design thinking Sara moved to New York City, a borderless place with which she could identify. Sara attended graduate school at Parsons The New School For Design. Her master's program in Strategic Design and Management succeeded in connecting the dots between her business and design backgrounds by implementing design thinking approaches in business development to create effective strategies for a fast paced world with dynamic consumers at center stage. Owing to her strong need finding and problem solving tendencies in the endeavors that she takes on, 

Sara is eager to delve deeper into the world of ideation and innovation consulting as well as turning those ideas into a reality that can better the lives of human beings everywhere.

 

This portfolio showcases a combination of Sara's projects with content ranging from idea development for App creation, implemenation of design thinking in different domains, event management, leadership, and teamwork experience.
